‘Thinking outside the box’.

I have often felt outside the box -never quite feeling as if I fit in, but when I begin creating, my immersion in the task before me becomes paramount and it is hard to break myself away. It is a moment, an urgent expression of something fleeting, something without words or labels, I hope with my art to create work that speaks to the essence or emotions of an object rather than the facts of its existence.
